A single set:

The Papal Residence
There is a dining area consisting of a table and chairs downstage left.  There is a door leading to the kitchen center left.  Next to the door is a chair where Sister Assunta sits. There are various credenzas in this area.
 There is a sitting area (center stage right) consisting of a sofa and chair, end table with a lamp.
The main entrance to the residence is from a door downstage right.  There is also a small desk in this area.  (This is where Father Ronci sits.)
Along the right wall are windows, richly draped.
There is a door upstage right leading to the pope’s bedroom suite.
There is a doorway leading to a hall where it is assumed there is a bathroom (upstage right).

St. Monica’s Nursing Home
Sister Assunta is in a wheelchair downstage right.  (No furnishings.)

Balcony Overlooking St. Peter’s Square
Pope stands in front of a microphone addresses audience. (No furnishings.)

Bishop Andreikus’ Office at Vatican Bank
Option 1: A platform rolls in downstage right.  It contains a desk with a telephone and “old” style computer monitor.  There are two chairs in front of desk.

Option 2: No platform.  Desk is set up downstage right.  Whenever scene changes to Papal Residence, lights are dark on Andreikus’ Office.
